This timelapse video shows Live Event Painter Andy Greenlee making a work of art on the spot at a wedding reception in Long Island. It is completed over the course of the evening before the eyes of the delighted guests.

GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND:
In addition to my work done on location as a live event painter, I can also create commissioned portraits and commemorative artwork in my studio, using photographs as my source material. For example, I can paint a portrait of the honoree to be displayed above the guestbook as attendees arrive, or a portrait of a son or daughter to give as a graduation present. An oil painting of your wedding ceremony makes a wonderful anniversary present. I also facilitate art-themed activities at parties, where guests can collaborate on a meaningful artistic project together, drawing from my certified training as an art educator.
HOW TO HIRE ME:
The best way to hire me to paint live at your next event is to complete the inquiry form with as much detail as you can. My pricing is dependent on several factors, including the size of the painting and the location of the event. I live in Portland, but I am readily available for events in PA, NJ, DE, NY, VA, CT, PDX and MD. I am also willing to travel further afield if my travel expenses are compensated; this includes overseas.

LIVE EVENT PAINTER:
I arrive hours before your event begins, so I can begin transcribing your unique setting and decor onto my canvas. Then your guests arrive and are immediately struck by the presence of an easel and an artist at work. They are even more transfixed to see that they are being incorporated into a live oil painting. I engage your guests in dialogue, I dance along with your band, and I exude warmth and creative energy as I do my work. At the end of the night, your guests will witness the unveiling of a completed painting, made before their eyes. And of course I will give you this memory in oils to take home and display proudly in your home.
